Quickmice™ Long Fragment Gene-Edited Mouse Customization

The length of gene editing by traditional technology is mostly less than 5kb, and the longer the edited fragment the lower the success rate. Moreover, to construct a long-fragment knock-in/knock-out mouse model using traditional techniques, the chimeric mice need to be bred and screened for 2-3 generations to obtain the target mice, and the whole process takes more than 10-12 months.

The advantages of long fragment gene editing lie in its ability to overcome certain limitations of traditional gene editing methods.

A New generation of Rapid Mouse Preparation Technology

TurboMice™

We can quickly provide you with the required mouse models by applying TurboMice™ technology to improve the success rate.

Based on the optimal gene editing program by our scientists, we can complete the screening of edited embryonic stem cells within 3-5 days, then construct tetraploid embryo. After maternal surrogacy, the homozygous humanized mice can be obtained within 2-4 months, which can save 7-8 months for customers.

TurboMice™ technology enables precise gene editing of long fragments over 20kb, thereby facilitating the rapid production of complex models such as humanization, conditional knockout (CKO), and large fragment knock-in (KI).
